Maps Redesign Case Study
A redesigned Apple Maps experience; giving you the personal navigation system of your dreams.
Designed and written by Ayman Jaddaa, copywriting and edits by Marzia Abdulla.
note from me:
Over the past month, I worked closely with Ayman to hammer out the details of his Apple Maps redesign vision. With the launch of this project, I could not be prouder of the strides that have been made on both out behalfs to break into the industries of our choice, and to create a truly remarkable tangible in the meanwhile.
This project is the product of many months’ worth of work and a few consecutive sleepless nights. We were trying to redesign an app that we used almost every single day. Incorporating new features in a logical and seamless way, placing heavy emphasis on design and copy, and getting it all done RIGHT was what made this so special, and I do genuinely hope that we did Apple proud with this rebrand.
Our success hung on every word typed, and retyped, and retyped. I think we knocked it out of the park.
