Ryerson Library Rebranding

VIDEO

In October 2019, I took on a freelance gig at my university in collaboration with the library there; Ryerson Library Archives.

The core of the project was a huge overhaul rebranding of the library and archives. Everything, including it’s acronym - RULA - was being changed for a brighter, younger, and cleaner look.

I played a small role by undertaking a scripted takeover and commissioning graphics for it. With the help of a Communications Specialist at Ryerson Library and a Ryerson Librarian (@Jenna @Reece), I created a script (see below), designed video content, and executed on an overall engaging and informative campaign for RUL’s rebrand.

Important to us on this project was extreme clarity in what was about to take place. Branding Guidelines informed every decision and word that was put to paper.

Feel free to peruse the script, below, and final product, above.
